| Epiphanies by Ann Jauregui | | The author is a psychotherapist who writes, in a very accessible way, about the ‘revelatory’ moments that most (if not all of us) experience. It’s difficult to describe such occasions – perhaps because they are so different for everyone – but a common element seems to be: a mystical sense that everything will be all right, in the end.
The author shares (with their permission) elements of some of her clients’ stories in which they experience moments of movement, shift or understanding that can be described as epiphanies. She also ranges about exploring topics like quantum physics and lives of great figures like Isaac Newton. Fascinating! I read it during a long flight back from the U.S. recently and found it very moving, inspirational and warmly reassuring.
