Extra Ordinary Miracles: Finding the Miraculous Amidst the Mundane by A B SMITHYMAN

I was attracted to this book for its unusual and lesser known stories from church history- a wealth of material I hadn’t come across before. Wonderful stories told with a simple truth.

But there is much more here. A B Smithyman writes reflectively and each chapter not only tells a story but can be used as a meditation on our own walk with God.  Each chapter ends with a reflection and a prayer. I love those prayers. They hit home. They bring us closer to Him.

So what started as a Church History adventure has ended as a contemplation of my own walk with God. Words that are gentle and challenging at the same time.  

Finally, A B is Andy. Andy is married to Natalie. Natalie is the daughter of Tony and Mary. Tony and Mary live and worship in Peterborough.

Small world. Great book.
