MM1The Mission Maker Holiday Cub
 The millennium parrot
THE CATCHY TUNE, or one of them, that all who attended the Holiday Club in the first week of the school holidays, could not get out of their heads was: We're on a mission, mission, mission, mission, mission to find a miracle, miracle, miracle, miracle Maker ...

MM2The Holiday Club involved Orton Primary School children and plenty of very willing and able adult and young adult helpers. It was an infectious affair with plenty of fun, learning and games. The hall was decorated imaginatively with a space theme of rockets, stars and planets.
A King Snorg look-a-like

The command centre where the leaders operated from, and the dramas were staged, was a by invitation only area for those who knew the song actions, the memory verses or met the challenges set.

MM3It was an exciting way to learn stories from the Bible and there were video clips of the stories and craft fun with amongst other things - alien masks and space mobiles to construct. One of the highlights was the challenge to make up one person from each planet group to look like 'King Snorg' which involved the use of shaving foam!

It is hoped that altogether this was a great way to learn more about our Amazing God!
