Passion for Peterborough

bottle waterRefresh

Refresh is a word that conjures up many images......for Refresh volunteers it means giving out between 50-125 bottles of water between 10pm and 2am in Geneva Street  to people out enjoying the City night life..on Friday nights once a month.

The water comes ‘no strings attached’, but as Stuart Mathers, the co-ordinator of the project, says ‘People are often looking for a catch. They are surprised that its a gift of God’s love. Some people take the water, some people don’t and some stay for a chat!’

The project is looking for more volunteers, some training is provided. Anyone interested should email refreshpeterborough@googlemail.com
