Bible Study
 One of the best series of study books for those that want to get into God’s word is the For Everyone series by the Bishop of Durham, Tom Wright. Maybe start with his study on John’s Gospel or Paul’s Prison Letters. Tom’s writing is great at explaining the passage you are reading and full of everyday stories to help apply them to our lives. A classic bible study aide are the books by the ‘Prince of Preachers’ from the late 1800’s/early 1900’s, C H Spurgeon. Called On Eagles Wings, Spurgeon takes us through the bible day by day, using beautiful pictures and elegant language to help us. The books have been continuously in print sine they first came out in the 1870’s. Reviews by Ralph Turner
