Lighter moments
 Work sometimes means we need to crash out a bit on holiday- but there is a difference to crashing out physically and crashing out spiritually! If all you can manage is a lighter read as you wind down, try Jeff Lucas. Any of his books really. If you’ve never read them, try Lucas on Life (1 & 2), or Helen Sloane’s Diary, Jeff’s first novel. Stuart and Dave Bell have written the miracle story of Dave being healed of cancer in Mud in the Eye. Many of you will know of them through the Grapevine Bible Weeks.  Also in the ‘lighter read’ category would be my own book; God-Life by Ralph Turner. I take stories of Peterborough people and other friends and weave them into a narrative to help young Christians find their feet in God’s Kingdom.
