Inspirational
 My favourite book of the year has to be Ultramarathon Man by Dean Karnazes. This has been incredibly inspirational for me. The story of a man who faces tragedy in his life, plus an awareness he is getting old, and does something about it. He starts to run. Not satisfied with marathons, he began to run longer and longer distances, soon accomplishing amazing distances of over 100 miles a time, running all night and all the next day. It’s not a Christian book as such, but shows what can be done when we are determined and focussed- ‘inspirational’ is the right word for it.
 An inspirational book of a different kind is Divine Mentor by Wayne Cordeiro. For me personally, it has woken up my times in God’s word in a way that has been lacking for a long time. I’m excited to get into God’s word, finding fresh revelation and enjoying working through the method of study Wayne highlights in the book.
