Christians Against Poverty (CAP) partners with local churches across the UK to deliver top quality debt counselling services, which not only provide a sustainable solution to poverty but also transform lives, both practically and spiritually. Christians Against Poverty believe that the local church should be at the heart of God’s work. In practice this means that while CAP gives a professional debt counselling tool, the church provides the support, care and welcome to those interested in knowing more. Since October 2007 the Open Door Church has become a CAP centre and offers a professional debt counselling service to Peterborough.
